Our company was established in 1998 by Ray Gessner, P.E., who is a licensed structural engineer. A Step in Time Chimney Sweeps is in the process of franchising throughout the United States. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service, documenting and educating our clients regarding state building codes and recommending the best way to keep their chimney, dryer vents, and roof in proper working order. Our locations are being operated by either corporate run employees, independent franchise owners (coming 2020), independent contractors hired by us to locate into new locations or we will soon service your territory.
